What’s in an Autoresponder?

Autoresponders – As online marketers we can’t live without them. Whether we are communicating with the great mass of people who follow our every move (*grin) or we have an offline brick and mortar business and just want to communicate our newest sales and offers – we gotta have an autoresponder.

For those not acquainted an autoresponder is a server side (loaded to the server and not on your desktop) script that allows you to send mass mailings to individual email addresses.

The three most popular autoresponder services are Aweber, GetResponse and 1ShoppingCart. All three have very good delivery rates (means that the emails you send out actually are delivered because the company is diligent about maintaining the integrity of their IP addresses) and easy to use interfaces.

Just recently (like last week) GetResponse did a complete overhaul on their site so I decided it was time to re-look at all three services again.

Below is a side-by-side comparison of the autoresponder services so you can decide for yourself which one best suits your business needs.

Because of the good services offered by all three companies you must take a strong look at the needs of your own individual business before deciding which one will serve you best.
